Who we are
We're a small team based in Switzerland. We've been working with telecom data and the industry for years. And one thing struck us: finding the right plan is unnecessarily complicated.
Providers outdo each other with deals, combo discounts and footnotes in the small print. Most comparison sites don't make it any better. Sponsored rankings, hidden affiliate deals, opaque sorting.
So we sat down and built handyabo.com. With one goal: make plan comparison as simple and honest as possible. In a modern design that doesn't look like it's from the 2000s.

How we check prices
We use a combination of automated crawlers and manual review. Our system scans every provider's website weekly and detects price changes automatically. Bigger changes are verified manually before they go live on the site.
When Swisscom raises prices, we catch it on the next crawl. When a provider launches a deal, we check the long-term price first. Only then does it go on the site.
How we rate: the Deal Score
Every plan gets a score from 0 to 100. The higher, the better the overall package. No subjective opinion. Just data.
The score is made up of four areas:
Fair price
max. 50 pointsWe only compare plans that offer the same thing. An unlimited EU plan doesn't compete with a CHF 15 Switzerland plan. So you can see right away whether you're paying a fair price for your category.
No small print
max. 25 pointsDoes the price go up after the deal? Do you need a combo internet plan? Is the speed throttled? Are there activation fees? The fewer traps, the better the score.
What you actually get
max. 15 pointsUnlimited isn't always unlimited. We rate whether 5G is included, how much EU roaming you really get, whether the router supports symmetric speeds. The details that matter.
Stay flexible
max. 10 pointsCan you cancel any time? Or are you locked in for 24 months? Staying flexible means you can switch to a better deal any time.

How we make money
Full transparency. We earn a commission when you sign up for a plan through one of our links. It doesn't cost you a single rappen extra. The price is always the same as if you went to the provider directly.
What that means for you
The order in our comparison is based on the Deal Score. Not on the size of the commission. A provider that pays us more does not get a better placement. That's our promise.
