Price increases define the Swiss telecom summer of 2026. After TalkTalk, Salt, Sunrise and yallo, Swisscom's subsidiary Wingo raises prices in September as well. The new Peer Score by handyabo.com, built from real Google and Trustpilot reviews, shows that the providers turning the price screw are the ones landing mid-table or right at the bottom on customer satisfaction. On the Swisscom network, a small provider, Mucho, pulls ahead of the market leader.
Wingo is raising all mobile plans by CHF 1 per month from September 2026. Unlike the year's earlier price waves, the Swisscom subsidiary bundles the increase with a roaming upgrade: the included EU/UK data allowance rises significantly for affected plans, for example from 2 to 8 GB on Swiss Max. It is Wingo's second increase in two years. What it means for you and what you can do.
In early July, Salt changed the promo prices of three roaming plans: two went down, one went up. Europe Surf & Call now costs CHF 19.95 instead of 21.95, Travel Plus CHF 29.95 instead of 31.95. Europe XL, however, climbs from CHF 29.95 back to 33.95. All regular base prices remain unchanged.
GoMo has cut the permanent price of its unlimited plan from CHF 14.95 to CHF 12.95. No promo, no countdown: the regular base price drops by 2 francs. Salt's online brand takes the top spot in the ranking of Switzerland's cheapest unlimited plans, 5 centimes ahead of Digital Republic.

Lifetime discount, until the next price increase. Six Swiss mobile providers raise their prices over five months in 2026. All use the same marketing construct: the granted 'lifetime discount' or 'loyalty discount' supposedly stays unchanged. But the list price underneath rises. Effectively, customers pay more.

After Swisscom (1 April), TalkTalk also raised its prices on 1 May 2026. 22 mobile plans were affected, with adjustments between CHF 1 and CHF 3 per month. A third wave was already announced: Sunrise, yallo and Lebara adjusted on 1 August. In all three cases, consumers had the statutory extraordinary right of termination.

On 1 April 2026, Swisscom raised its blue Mobile plans by CHF 1.90 per month. For around 1.5 million mobile customers that means CHF 22.80 more per year. Anyone who wants the same Swisscom network at significantly lower prices will find cheaper alternatives at Wingo, Migros Mobile and Mucho.
