GoMo cuts its base price to CHF 12.95: Switzerland's new cheapest unlimited plan

What changed

Our weekly price check picked up the change in late June and confirmed it the following week: GoMo now sells its unlimited plan (unlimited data and calls within Switzerland) for CHF 12.95 per month instead of CHF 14.95. This is the regular permanent price, not a time-limited promo. The plan remains cancellable monthly.

GoMo is Salt's online brand and runs on the Salt network.

New ranking: the cheapest unlimited plans by permanent price

We consistently compare on the permanent price, meaning the price you pay once all promos have expired. Here is the top of the table after the GoMo cut:

The honest take: a 5-centime lead, but no roaming

GoMo is now nominally number 1, but the gap to Digital Republic is exactly 5 centimes. The differences in the package are what matter:

• GoMo (CHF 12.95): no roaming included. Standard rates apply abroad. No 5G according to our data.
• Digital Republic Flat Mobile Swiss (CHF 13.00): 2 GB of EU/USA/UK roaming included, 5G, also a monthly contract.

If you practically never leave Switzerland and want the Salt network, GoMo is now the cheapest option. If you spend even one weekend a year abroad, Digital Republic offers the more complete package for 5 centimes more. For frequent travellers, GoMo Europe (CHF 19.95 permanent price, unlimited EU data with 20 GB at full speed) is the in-house alternative.
