GoMo: Plan Comparison 2026

GoMo uses the Salt network, well established in Swiss cities and agglomerations. In rural areas Salt offers lower coverage than Swisscom or Sunrise. Whether your GoMo plan unlocks 5G is a question of the plan and not the network, see the 5G question below.

GoMo is a Salt sub-brand, Switzerland's third-largest network operator. Salt uses GoMo as a digital own-brand to reach price-conscious customers who can do without in-store advice.

GoMo offers two plans: GoMo with unlimited data, calls and SMS in Switzerland, and GoMo Europe which adds EU roaming. Current prices are in the plan table on this page, including any running promotion and the permanent price. Both are cancellable monthly.

Per our data the GoMo plans do not include 5G, and GoMo does not advertise it on go-mo.ch. The Salt network itself does offer 5G, so the question is not coverage but whether the plan unlocks access. Check directly with GoMo before signing up if 5G matters to you.

Only on the Europe plan. The base GoMo plan includes no roaming, you add it as a paid Data Pack when you need it. GoMo Europe includes unlimited roaming data with a highspeed allowance, after which the speed is throttled. The exact country list is on go-mo.ch.

GoMo is valued as a cheap Salt alternative. Strengths from Trustpilot reviews: consistently low pricing, easy online activation, eSIM available. Weaknesses: support online only (no store support), Salt network weaker in rural areas than Swisscom/Sunrise.

GoMo uses the same Salt network but costs less and is purely digital. The difference is service and feature scope: GoMo has no stores, no phone support and a leaner plan portfolio. The best way to compare current prices for both is directly in our calculator.

GoMo runs as a monthly contract, so you can cancel every month. There is no multi-year minimum term.
